Divisional Requirements

We received this letter from NWAL.  Please read and if you are wanting to have your swimmer in an event they haven't had a legal time (no DQ's), this weekend is the last chance.

"Good Afternoon League,

Here are a few things to remember as you are planning events for swimmers for this weekends last dual meet.
Requirements for Divisionals: (2 step process)
Step1: Swimmers must have swum in 2 dual meets to participate in divisionals.
Step 2: Swimmers can only enter events in which they have an official time. (This includes the strokes they will swim in the relays as well)

This is the last weekend to get your official times for individual strokes at a dual meet so make sure you check to see if your swimmers have all the official times in the strokes you need them to have for divisional entries.
A great way to check to see if a swimmer has official times in certain strokes is to go into your entries for your Divisional meet. If there is not a time for a stroke for a swimmer that means they do not have an official time yet.

Another report to look at is to go to your Divisionals meet and go to Entries/Reports/Ineligible Swimmers.
This list will tell you how many of your swimmers do not qualify yet for Divisionals because they have not participated in 2 dual meets.
This is the last Weekend to get that 2nd dual meet for many swimmers.

Good Luck this weekend.
Matt Waindel
NWAL President"

As always, if you have any questions, please ask a coach or board member.  Thanks!
