Hello FOST Families!

Who else is super excited about another AMAZING season of swim? I can’t believe that it is just right around the corner. With that, I wanted to give you an update on volunteering for the 2023 season.

EXPECTATIONS:

• We will be opening the sing up for volunteers the week of the meet.
• There will be an email and blast on FB when we open the sign-up sheets.
• Signing up on the website is the same as past years.
  • You will log into your FOST account and sign up for a shift.
• Families should only sign up for 1 shift per meet / event.
  • If there are shifts still needed, after everyone has had a chance to sign up, we will open it up to multiple shifts per family.

Mandatory Volunteer Meets:

• BLACK AND GREEN – This is an inner team competition. Our team is divided into either Black or Green team and will complete to get their official times.
  • Divisional – This is a big meet with all the teams that we swam against throughout the season.
  • invitations – if your swimmer qualifies and attends an invitational meet (Summer Thunder, Red-White & Blue, All-Stars etc...) you will be asked to volunteer – this is in addition to the normal season volunteer hours.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

• Each family will be responsible for 9 points.
  • This is basically signing up for every meet.
  • We are short about 50 swimmers this year compared to years past.
    • So, the volunteer ask had to increase to have a very successful meet. 

SIGN IN:

• You will need to sign in each swim meet with Adam – Volunteer Coordinator. If you don’t sign in, you might not receive credit for your shift. And we don’t want that.
