PARKING:General Parking will be in all lots surrounding Klein Oak High School TEAMS will not be responsible or liable for families parking at other non-designated areas or along adjacent streets and their shoulders. Teams will not be responsible or liable for any violations that may result in vehicles being towed or damaged. A rough outline designated parking areas is included in a map attached.
TEAM SETUP: Set up is outside on the soccer fields. We are assigned a team area.
FOST will have a set-up team area with a FOST banner.

We will have a large cooler with ice water for swimmers to dip a towel or shirt in to help cool down. Parents have your swimmers bring an extra small towel to use to stay cool.
ALL THE TEAMS WILL BE IN THIS AREA TOO. YOU CAN FIND US BY OUR
TEAM BANNER AND SPIRIT!!!
WARM-UPS: 6:45-7:10
We are the first warm-up group
MEET TIME: 8:30- 3:00 estimated
* * since we are swimming the other teams in our division expect this meet to run longer**
Spectator seating:
Spectators SHOULD NOT remain in the bleachers or balcony all day to accommodate other spectators. It is come and go seating.
There is no standing by the railing. We want to be very considerate of all spectators.
Spectator seating will be restricted to the bleachers in the natatorium, and a roped off area on the deck of the pool.
Entry to the spectator seating will be from the main entrance.
**The Meet events go through 86 at Divisionals.
Events 43-48 are age group mixed boy/girl free relays.
Swimmers can swim in 3 relays at the meet,
a regular Medley relay, a Mixed boy/girl free relay, or a regular free relay.
**After the meet team awards will be announced! After the long hot day try and stay for the excitement🥳
No SPRAY PAINTED HAIR on grounds or in the pool, or use of washable markers. Only SHARPIE markers to write event information only. Swimmers believed to be wearing washable or water-soluble markers, etc. will be asked to shower/remove markings.
This meet takes a big group effort to make it run smoothly. All 5 teams are responsible for 43 volunteers! Most of the volunteer spots are in the AC! Volunteering at Divisionals is mandatory. Volunteer sign-ups are open.
If we have spots that are not filled the meet will be held up until we fill them. If you have questions about signing up to volunteer please contact Adam Schmidt :
As always please make sure your swimmer/s are eating healthy food and staying hydrated and not running around the facility. It will be a long hot day!
There will be a sound system or an announcer in our area so we can hear the events that are being called, please give your swimmer extra time to get to the heat benches.
Tents, tarps, Fold-up chairs, pillows, blankets, cooler with sandwiches/snacks are recommended. Games, toys, coloring books, cards, and electronics are welcome!!!
No Generators are permitted. Teams are permitted to use battery powered fans and other battery powered equipment as deemed necessary by the TEAM in their respective TEAM setup areas.
No loud or profanity filled music will be permitted.
CONCESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON SITE
*** please pack extra food & drinks for this meet since it will run longer and concessions is accommodating all the teams.

REMINDERS :
If your swimmer/s will be participating in an Invitational meet entries are due Saturday by 8pm.
Swimmers can qualify for invitational meets at divisionals.
Parents, please do your swimmer's meet entries. Swimmers can qualify at divisionals for an invitational meet, if you need help with your swimmer's entries then ask a board member to help you.
Invitational Practice Only: June 19th-23rd.
ONLY swimmers who make qualifying times and who will be swimming in one of the Invitation meets will continue with the practice for the last week of June.

Barracuda Invitational Swimmers mark your calendars!
We invite you to our annual pasta carb-load dinner on Thursday June 22nd from 6-8 pm in the FOSRC meeting room to help prepare our Barracudas to swim fast at the invitational meets.
We will have a sign up on link to bring a pasta dish, salad, and bread
The FOST board will have drinks and desserts.
More information will go out for this event with the signup link after divisionals.
🥳 Our End Of Season Party & Awards is on June 26th for all swimmers & families!
