Saturdays dual meet information, reminders & looking ahead information. Please read everything Our away meet is not like other meets so please read the information. 

Date: Saturday May 25th 

Where: Laura Wilkison CISD Natatorium 19133 David Memorial Dr. Shenandoah, TX 77385 Indoor natatorium 

Check in time : 7:30 

Warm-ups: 7:45am-8:15am 

Meet start time : 8:30am 

Volunteers, please check in at 8:00 with Adam. 

Meet Info: Swimmers will start from the lobby end of the pool for 25s and for relays, 50’s and 100’s under the score board on the west end. Timers will not have to move. They will provide a table for our swimmers to check in outside the front of the natatorium. 

Meet setup: Swimmers will set up around the pool on the bleachers, only parent volunteers are allowed on deck. Teams will be assigned areas for seating around the pool inside the natatorium. Bleachers will be provided with spots marked for athletes to sit and avoid overcrowding. Swimmers may also bring their own chair. Only swimmers, coaches, officials and volunteers with a wrist band may be on the pool deck. If an adult doesn’t have an NWAL badge or wrist band they cannot be on the pool deck Locker rooms will be allowed to be used by swimmers only. Spectators will be allowed in the stands upstairs. Swimmers should not be sitting upstairs with their parents. Wet swimmers should not be going up and down the stairs. The spectator area immediately in front of the West pool is come and go seating only. Please watch your swimmer race then move to other bleachers to allow everyone the opportunity for a good view. **Team moms can help swimmers on the pool deck get to their events and/or communicate with parents that are not allowed on the pool deck. 

The concession stand will be open upstairs. 

Please pack your swimmers drinks, snacks and any food they will need. The Natatorium parking is in front of the office. There will be no food or drink allowed in the spectator seating area. 

Outside setup is allowed. Swimmers in the bleachers are allowed to have drinks and food items with them. 

Please remind your swimmers to pick up after themselves and throw away any trash. 

The natatorium is known for being a little cooler, so swimmers might want to bring an extra towel, set of clothes or a blanket while they’re waiting and sitting. Swimmers can bring their electronic games but please remind them to keep their stuff together. 

  Reminders & Looking ahead: 

No practice on Friday due to Lemm‘s 5th-grade party. Spring Swim Team is offering a free clinic at their facility. A flyer was posted and sent out with information. 

Summer Thunder invitational meet entries are due Saturday by 6 PM. All information was posted and sent out and is available on our website. 

Shark Splash Meet is Sunday all the information that was previously posted is the same moving forward to Sunday. 

Morning practice starts Tuesday, May 28th No practice on Memorial Day Monday. 

Pictures are here kids can ask a coach or board member for them during practice. 

The second order of shirts is here and will be available to pick up Saturday morning at the meet. 

If you have not paid for your team shirt items or The Shark Splash Invitational meet for Sunday, you can Venmo, Zelle, or on Saturday pay cash to a board member.
