Parents:

Out of courtesy and for planning purposes we will attempt to post "cancellations only" 30 minutes before scheduled practice start times. Our goal is for our swimmers to get their practices in, but Swimmer and Coach safety is priority. We will send an email, post on FB, and post on the FOST website.
Lightning/Thunder Policy: If lightning/thunder is present, the pool and deck must be cleared. There is a 30 minute wait time from once the thunder/lightning stops. If any lightning is seen or thunder is heard, the 30 minute clock starts back at 0:00. If the skies are clear but storm clouds are in the far distance and the nearest lightning strike is more than 10 miles away, everyone can stay in the pool. The WeatherBug and Weather Channel apps show lightening distance.
