Trinity Invitational Swimmers
Trinity Family,
Welcome to the 2015 Trinity Summer Classic
We are glad you are joining us this year. We have grown again this season and are now officially the largest NWAL invitational of the year! Attached are important documents to share with your coaches and your team regarding this year’s Trinity meet. All documents can also be found on our website:
Warm up lane assignments:
Due to increased participation, we now have three 20 minute warm up sessions each day. Sessions are as follows:
Session 1 06:40-07:00
Session 2 07:00- 07:20
Session 3 07:20-07:40
Each team has the same warm up TIME each day, but lane assignments will vary, please check the attached facility map and lane assignment sheet.
Saturday warm ups: WEST POOL will be ONE WAY starts ONLY in lanes 1, 2, 3 and 4. These are open lanes to all teams during each of these warm up sessions.
Sunday warm ups: Each team has a lane assignment with starting blocks. There are no dedicated start lanes during Sunday warm ups.
Each day: The center pool is closed for warm up or warm down each day once the meet has begun.
A Natatorium lane map is available on our website and signs will be posted at the Natatorium to assist your swimmers in finding their warm up lanes.
Team size and division alignment:
Trinity awards first, second and third place for Large, Medium and Small group teams. Please see the attached breakdown for team divisions. This year we considered any entry an opportunity to score points, and grouped teams with similar potential together in groups based on total number of entries.
Parents on deck:
We want your parents to be comfortable in new surroundings, but we will need your help in making sure that parents know that the deck is off limits this weekend. Parents may walk their swimmer through the locker room for warm ups each day, but must leave them on deck and clear the deck promptly.
Awards:
Individual awards will be available in the Natatorium lobby approximately one hour after an event has finished. Any unclaimed awards will be sent to the team representative at the conclusion of the meet.
Team Set Up:
All teams will be accommodated on a first come first serve basis under the west side of the stadium grandstands. There is overflow in the grass to the west, and on the concrete pad to the north. Please plan to bring a few tents (you may not need them) just in case you arrive after premium seating has been taken. Gates will open at 0600 each day.
Race viewing:
The Natatorium has seating for over 1,200, but of course not all seats are in the front row. Please do NOT stand in front of those seated as you enter the NAT.
Thank you:
This meet is brought to you by two summer league teams with a dream and a vision for providing your swimmers with the best facility and experience possible. We are all volunteers here and appreciate your support of our mission, and your help when you see an opportunity. We will be making calls for volunteer timers/scribes throughout the day, please jump in if you can.
