Hello all,

 

Can't believe that we are half way through the season already, The time is swimming by. I hope you are enjoying the season so far, but we have more fun to come!! Remember this enjoyment can be year round if you are wanting to join the real fun, we are looking for new board members. Three member's terms expire this year and new members will be elected at the end of season party. Please contact a board member if you are interested. New ideas and energy are welcome and as our kids age up, some of us will be leaving.

 

The Cudathon was a huge success this year. Swimmers receive their medals for laps swum and we will recognize our top fundraisers at the end of season party.

 

Several people have brought concerns to me about time improvement ribbons this week. If you believe that there was a mistake for you swimmer please respond to this email and we will make sure it is fixed. Remember that improvement is calculated from meet to meet. This weeks improvement was calculated off of last weeks times. There may also be a difference in times due to the conversion from meters to yards. Our pool and base times are in meters and the pools we have been swimming in are yards. To convert you would either multiply or divide by 1.11. And if the stroke they improved this week was not swum last week they will not receive a ribbon. Hope that helps, any questions just respond to this email.

 

This weekend is the first of our invitational meets, Thank you to those who are volunteering and good luck to our swimmers! I will see you there! (can't get out of the computer room ;) ) Please check out the sign up genius if you haven't signed up to volunteer.

 

Swimmers have been entered into their events for this week. Please check them out. The pool we swim at this week is a meter pool just so you know. Entries will be merged/exchanged with the other team this afternoon. No changes are allowed after that.
